AI Transformation and Automation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess internal processes, systems, data flows, and team transitions to pinpoint gaps, redundancies, manual tasks, and inefficiencies.

• Identify whether each opportunity necessitates process redesign, automation, an internal tool, a system upgrade, or a combination of methods.

• Prioritize projects based on productivity, cost-effectiveness, speed, quality, feasibility, and scalability.

• Map existing workflows and design streamlined, more efficient future processes.

• Question outdated processes instead of simply automating ineffective practices.

• Personally develop prototypes, automation solutions, internal applications, dashboards, integrations, and AI-driven workflows.

• Test solutions with internal users, gather feedback, and make iterative improvements rapidly.

• Evaluate enhancements in productivity, turnaround time, cost, accuracy, quality, or process capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Science, or a related area.

• Approximately 7+ years of experience in software development, product management, automation, analytics, business systems, consulting, or operational transformation.

• At least 2 years of direct development or technical implementation experience.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous operational challenges from discovery through process redesign, MVP development, validation, and scaling.

• Strong system design and product management acumen, with the capability to create reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

• Practical experience with automation platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato, or similar tools.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting, data processing, analysis, integrations, and automation.

• Experience interfacing with APIs, webhooks, databases, cloud platforms, SaaS systems, and data pipelines.

• Familiarity with AI APIs, large language models, prompt engineering, AI agents, retrieval-based systems, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Experience with tools such as OpenAI, Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Lovable, Replit, Retool, or Vercel.

• Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot, and email services such as SendGrid or Instantly.

• Strong analytical abilities, including defining KPIs, establishing baselines, building dashboards, and measuring business impact.

• Sound business judgment and the ability to convert operational challenges into actionable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.

• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with agility, curiosity, comfort in ambiguity, and a strong focus on execution.
