This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Develop and construct the multi-agent systems that support NASA's Text-to-Spaceship program.
• Convert physical constraints into prompt contexts, structured outputs, and agent guardrails.
• Create and implement programmatic workflows for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Review AI-generated structural designs, pinpointing edge cases and impractical geometries.
• Design and establish agentic frameworks for intricate engineering workflows.
• Develop pipelines that transform natural language mission requirements into structured specifications.
• Integrate AI agents with external engineering tools through custom API integrations.
• Deploy and scale AI workloads across cloud providers utilizing containerized architectures.
• Create evaluation frameworks for agentic applications.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a software engineer in the aerospace sector.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
• Practical experience with the scripting APIs of leading engineering tools (e.g., Python APIs for Autodesk Fusion 360, ANSYS, NASTRAN, or SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with aerospace-grade materials such as titanium, aluminum alloys, and carbon fiber composites.
• Capability to interpret and programmatically implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) along with NASA/aerospace engineering standards.
• Proficiency with AWS services and architecture; knowledge of other cloud providers (GCP, Azure) is advantageous.
• Practical experience with Python; additional skills in TypeScript are a bonus.
• Strong understanding of API design, containerization, and the integration of various tools and data formats into automated pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and reproducible cloud deployments.
• Comprehensive understanding of large language models, including context windows, structured output, prompt engineering, and model selection trade-offs.
