AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess and review AI tools and automations created by non-technical business units for commercial return on investment, security posture, and architectural feasibility.

• Refine high-impact internal prototypes like AI SDRs and RFP generators into secure, scalable, enterprise-level applications.

• Develop and maintain secure integrations between foundational models through APIs and the Enterprise Data Lake and Salesforce CRM.

• Manage the full lifecycle of graduated internal AI applications, ensuring operational uptime, addressing prompt drift, and updating API connections as schemas evolve.

• Conduct interviews with business stakeholders to uncover operational inefficiencies, outline project scope, and ascertain whether solutions should be AI-driven experiences or SQL dashboards.

• Uphold Enterprise Data & Analytics standards, including preventing data leakage, enforcing strict access controls, and mitigating hallucination risks.

• Act as a Forward Deployed Engineer, connecting grassroots innovations from business units with enterprise-grade reliability.

• Report to both the central AI hub team and the business unit being supported.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in identifying high-value challenges, crafting effective solutions, demonstrating measurable impact, and prototyping or implementing solutions using AI tools and technologies; OR at least 2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical architecture with a proven history of building and deploying functional applications and exercising product judgment.

• Practical experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Production experience in managing context windows, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and best practices in software development.

• High proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python.

• Extensive experience in building and utilizing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with modern cloud environments for deploying internal applications.

• Ability to translate vague business challenges into precise technical requirements in collaboration with non-technical business leaders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience in building and delivering complex technical projects.

• Experience in Forward Deployed, Solutions Engineering, or technical consulting is highly desirable.
