This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish, scale, and operationalize AI-assisted software development methodologies within the Engineering organization.
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software development techniques across engineering teams.
• Deliver software enhancements that impact revenue through autonomous development and human review workflows.
• Establish and enhance standards, governance processes, and quality controls for AI-generated code.
• Create and uphold engineering playbooks, best practices, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Applied AI teams.
• Develop automated frameworks for building, testing, and validating software.
• Ensure solutions comply with quality, security, compliance, and testing standards.
• Coach and mentor engineers in utilizing AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement resources.
• Monitor adoption, assess effectiveness, and enhance AI-enabled engineering practices.
• Contribute to communities of practice and advocate for modern software engineering, automation, and AI-driven productivity.
• Take on increasing technical leadership responsibilities as practices expand.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience leading software development projects in complex enterprise settings.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, application architecture, and contemporary development practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, developer productivity platforms, or software automation technologies.
• Proven success in delivering software products using Agile methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of software testing, quality assurance, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering organizational adoption of new technologies and workflows.
• Ability to balance innovation, speed, quality, and risk management effectively.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating technical standards, governance models, playbooks, or enablement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and achieve measurable business results.
• Familiarity with compliance, security, and regulated software development environments.
• Experience in implementing AI-first or autonomous software development practices at scale.
• Proven track record in enhancing engineering productivity through automation and intelligent tools.
• Experience in leading organizational change and technology transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of human-in-the-loop development frameworks and AI governance models.
• Ability to create repeatable engineering processes adopted across several teams.
• Experience in coaching engineers to effectively partner with AI tools while maintaining engineering excellence.
• Success in building communities of practice, training programs, or capability-building initiatives.
• Background in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government.
• Experience in measuring and conveying the business impact of engineering transformation initiatives.
• A passion for exploring emerging AI technologies and converting them into practical engineering results.
