AI Software Developer – Internal Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain internal web applications utilizing AI-assisted development environments, swiftly transforming business needs into functional software while adhering to reliability and security protocols.

• Collaborate with leadership to pinpoint high-cost or underutilized software that could be substituted with targeted internal tools, and assess the cost savings generated by each replacement initiative.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in accordance with best practices for source control and deployment; implement security and data protection standards across all internal tools.

• Engage directly with stakeholders from various departments to define, prioritize, and demonstrate new tools; ensure clear backlog communication and thoroughly document each tool for organizational continuity.

• Keep abreast of advancements in AI development tools and techniques, establish and report on delivery KPIs (tools delivered, cost savings, adoption rates, uptime), and suggest new prospects for internal tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in building and deploying web applications with a proven ability to deliver functional software rapidly.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) – capable of effective communication with US-based teams and stakeholders.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as Replit, Claude Code, Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms).

• Expertise in modern web technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python.

• Experience in developing applications that interface with third-party SaaS platforms through REST APIs.

• Demonstrated experience working within Scrum/Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery.

• Strong judgment regarding build-versus-buy decisions and the ability to prioritize tasks for maximum business impact.
