AI Search and Discovery Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the AEO strategy for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.

• Analyze and enhance Modern Treasury's visibility within the entire LLM-ingested ecosystem (HackerNews, Reddit, G2, TrustRadius, YouTube, etc.) to boost AI-driven discoverability and citation strength.

• Define and manage the topic cluster and authority map for Modern Treasury's primary categories: payment orchestration, PSP architecture, ACH and RTP infrastructure, stablecoin frameworks, ledger systems, reconciliation processes, embedded payments, sub-account systems, and multi-rail money movement.

• Create evaluation content tailored for technical and operational buyers, including build vs. buy frameworks, comparison pages, architecture guides, and implementation patterns.

• Collaborate with founders, executives, and engineering subject matter experts to convert product and market changes into authoritative content.

• Oversee SEO and AEO performance analytics, linking organic performance to the pipeline and revenue.

• Work alongside a design engineer to establish technical SEO standards, schema, and structured data, setting the benchmarks while they handle execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or organic growth, preferably within modern B2B SaaS, fintech, infrastructure, API, or developer-tool sectors.

• A proven history of increasing qualified organic traffic and pipeline through effective content strategy, beyond mere technical solutions.

• A strong viewpoint on the evolution of search in the AI age, with practical experience or active experimentation in AEO.

• Highly analytical, adept at working with large datasets to uncover trends, diagnose performance changes, and quantify opportunities.

• Practical experience using enterprise SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Profound, or similar platforms.

• A solid understanding of technical buyer journeys, including how developers, payment operations, and finance buyers assess infrastructure.

• Proficient writing skills. The senior individual contributor standard at Modern Treasury encompasses producing content, not merely outlining it.
