This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead the development of Intel's XeSS and associated AI-driven graphics technologies for Client Graphics.
• Play a key role in shaping technical direction and ensuring successful execution across various teams.
• Collaborate with research, software, hardware architecture, validation, and ecosystem teams to transition AI graphics technologies from concept to market-ready products.
• Engage in comprehensive development involving model design, datasets, training, visual quality, performance enhancement, and product integration.
• Assist in steering the implementation of contemporary AI model architectures for future graphics workloads.
• Spearhead initiatives across XeSS Super Resolution, XeSS Frame Generation, Neural Rendering, and advanced AI rendering features.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline, with over 10 years of experience; or a Master's degree with over 8 years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge in AI/ML for real-time graphics, imaging, or video, covering areas such as super resolution, frame generation, denoising, reconstruction, optical flow, or similar AI rendering tasks.
• Proven experience in advancing AI technology from research through to productization, encompassing model architecture, datasets, training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Deep understanding of GPU architecture, performance metrics, memory management, latency issues, and hardware-aware optimization techniques.
• Established ability to lead technical projects and foster collaboration between research, software, and hardware teams.
• Preferred experience with XeSS, Neural Rendering, or related AI-based graphics technologies.
• A solid grasp of modern AI model architectures, including LLMs, Vision Transformers, Diffusion, and similar frameworks is preferred.
• Familiarity with high-performance GPU compute, inference kernels, or the production deployment of AI solutions is preferred.
• Experience in dataset capture, processing, and training infrastructure for graphics AI models is preferred.
• Background in SDK, API, or cross-platform AI productization is preferred.
• Experience in shaping future GPU, NPU, or accelerator features through AI workload analysis is preferred.
