📋 Description

• Enhance models that comprehend natural, real-world speech, user intent, and authentic conversation while processing orders in real time.

• Take ownership of speech accuracy as a continuous research challenge.

• Develop data models to test and train the system against rare or challenging scenarios derived from live calls.

• Establish benchmarking practices to assess whether modifications improve the system.

• Assess models and strategies for conversation quality and the supporting audio pipeline while ensuring a balance between accuracy and real-time constraints.

• Collaborate with applied AI and backend teams to translate research insights into product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong applied ML/research experience in an industry setting or a research laboratory.

• Practical experience in transitioning models from experimentation to production.

• Proficiency in speech/audio machine learning.

• Solid skills in Python programming.

• Ability to train ML models from the ground up.

• Experience in designing robust evaluation methodologies, including statistically sound benchmarking, synthetic data generation, or dataset curation for non-deterministic systems.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and transforming unclear quality issues into quantifiable research inquiries.

• Strong capability to execute from research concepts to production deployment.
