AI Research Engineer – Pre-training, LLM, Multi-Modal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of innovative architectures for LLMs and Multi-Modal systems.

• Execute foundational pre-training for LLMs and Multi-Modal models.

• Design, prototype, and scale cutting-edge architectures and tokenizers.

• Source and curate extensive datasets at a large scale.

• Analyze and resolve inefficiencies in model performance.

• Contribute to the evolution of distributed training systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• A PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or a related area is preferred.

• Practical experience with large-scale LLM or Multi-Modal pre-training processes.

• Knowledge of large-scale, distributed training frameworks.

• In-depth understanding of both transformer and non-transformer modifications.

• Proficient in PyTorch and Hugging Face libraries.
