This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review and validate test results generated by AI. Conduct a thorough assessment of AI outputs for accuracy, completeness, and identification of false positives/negatives, utilizing your domain knowledge and judgment to ascertain pass/fail results.
• Execute manual test cases while performing targeted exploratory and edge-case testing. Direct human testing efforts towards critical areas: intricate workflows, boundary conditions, integration points, and scenarios lacking sufficient AI coverage.
• Take ownership of the QA strategy and execution for your team, which includes test planning, risk evaluation, and decisions regarding release readiness.
• Create and maintain automated tests using Playwright, adhering to Page Object Model (POM) design patterns, while extending POM coverage to ensure a scalable and maintainable automation suite.
• Utilize AI development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) as essential components of your workflow to generate test cases, develop automation scripts, troubleshoot failures, and enhance coverage growth.
• Log defects, monitor bugs, and offer clear, actionable recommendations for product improvements.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Communicate effectively and clearly, managing multiple projects and priorities while working independently.
• Partner with our Customer Support team to address and triage complex application issues.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA role, with a robust foundation in both manual and automated testing.
• At least 2 years of practical experience with Playwright (preferred) or significant experience with a contemporary automation framework (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, etc.) and a readiness to quickly learn Playwright.
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage test plans, define testing strategies, and make risk-based decisions regarding release readiness.
• Familiarity with Xray or a similar test management tool that integrates with Jira.
• Strong proficiency in Jira, encompassing ticket workflows, bug reporting, sprint board management, and defect categorization.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic Agile/Scrum environment.
• A solid understanding of what it entails to take ownership of "code quality" within a development team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate issues, priorities, and impacts in a clear and concise manner.
