This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation of PMI’s enterprise AI delivery and governance capabilities, transforming enterprise AI priorities into a structured, actionable portfolio of initiatives that yield measurable business results.
• Advance AI initiatives from strategic planning through execution, adoption, and value realization—ensuring that investments extend beyond trial phases and are integrated into standard operational practices.
• Provide comprehensive leadership for PMI’s AI portfolio, managing program governance, cross-functional dependencies, risks, and the realization of benefits, while directly steering enterprise AI initiatives and shared capabilities that support various functions.
• Create and uphold the governance framework, delivery standards, and reporting structures that facilitate AI initiatives throughout PMI.
• A bachelor's degree in business, project management, information systems, computer science, engineering, analytics, data science, operations, or a related discipline (mandatory).
• Proficiency in the primary business language used at PMI (English) (mandatory).
• At least 7 years of experience in project, program, or transformation management, including enterprise-level cross-functional delivery.
• A minimum of 5 years leading AI, analytics, data, automation, or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience in roadmap planning and execution, governance, risk management, and tracking benefits realization/value.
• Capability to translate strategic objectives into cohesive delivery plans that ensure clear business outcomes, stakeholder alignment, dependency management, and executive-ready reporting.
• Experience in supporting senior governance forums or steering committees by preparing relevant materials, maintaining decision and action logs, and coordinating follow-ups across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively within matrixed organizations and lead cross-functional teams toward a unified value agenda.
• Strong skills in project/program management covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, governance, and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with AI delivery concepts, including use case prioritization, data readiness, model lifecycle considerations, deployment dependencies, and AI-related risks.
• Strong business insight with the ability to link delivery decisions to measurable value, adoption, and operational impact.
• Proven capability to lead or coordinate a network of project managers across a matrix or PMO, consolidating multi-workstream statuses into executive- and board-ready portfolio reports.
• Ability to function effectively in ambiguous, emerging-technology environments while maintaining structure, momentum, and accountability.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior executives and steering committees.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and the ability to customize working approaches based on AI initiative maturity and risk profiles.
• PMP certification required; PMI-CPMAI™ and/or PMI-ACP are strongly preferred; training in responsible AI or AI project management is also preferred.
