AI Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Conduct swift AI experiments: Create functional prototypes of agentic workflows, conversational interfaces, and AI-enhanced features. Transition from concept to interactive demo in just days, not weeks. You are at ease with imperfect MVPs that provide insights and facilitate deeper investment.

• Formulate strategic recommendations: Convert hands-on experiences into practical guidance for the CPO. Where should we allocate our AI resources?

• Remain at the forefront of innovation: The AI landscape evolves rapidly, with new models and techniques frequently emerging. You will keep abreast of the latest developments and motivate us to incorporate new ideas.

• Create agentic experiences: Move beyond basic chatbots to develop fully agentic systems with orchestration capabilities.

• Connect technical and product perspectives: Interpret what is technically feasible and what delivers genuine user value.

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside diverse teams at Nexford, including Learner Success, Academic Operations, Technology, and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive and seamless learner experience. Additionally, support the successful market launch of new products, features, and experiences.

• Make data-driven decisions: Leverage user research, data analytics, and learner feedback to evaluate product performance, identify improvement areas, and guide future iterations.

• Foster continuous improvement: Encourage a culture of ongoing enhancement, refining products and services based on feedback and data insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in delivering features and products, with substantial AI expertise: You have developed genuine features that real users utilize.

• Bonus points if you have experience with conversational AI, agents, or developer tools.

• Coding as a superpower: You can swiftly transition from ideas to functional code. You are comfortable with tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Lovable, v0, and whatever emerges next.

• You write code to explore ideas, not solely to deliver. You discern when to refine and when to maintain a scrappy approach.

• A profound curiosity about AI tools and techniques: You possess strong (but flexible) opinions on RAG architectures, prompt engineering, function calling, fine-tuning, and their appropriate applications.

• Tinkerer mindset: You engage in side projects. You maintain a personal AI stack. You enjoy experimenting.

• Aesthetic judgment combined with technical skills: You recognize the difference between an impressive demo and a practical feature.

• Effective communication: You can articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders to secure buy-in and cultivate a shared understanding.
