AI Product Manager – Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the strategy and roadmap for Zyte’s AI-focused product initiatives, emphasizing agentic systems and AI-native developer workflows.

• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver functionalities that integrate Zyte seamlessly into developers' software-building processes using AI agents.

• Recognize opportunities in integrations, APIs, workflows, ecosystem partnerships, and developer experience to enhance Zyte’s significance in the agentic tooling domain.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Architecture, R&D, and Platform teams to convert ideas into scalable, impactful product decisions.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of developers, AI builders, and technical users, advocating for their needs throughout the product lifecycle.

• Stay informed of rapid market changes in AI, agents, developer tooling, and related ecosystems, and adapt strategy promptly as required.

• Engage directly with emerging tools and agentic systems to comprehend how users build, identify friction points, and recognize where Zyte can provide value.

• Manage product execution from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization, maintaining a strong focus on speed, iteration, and learning.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Services, DevRel, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market readiness, effective positioning, enablement, and successful customer adoption.

• Clearly communicate product strategy, priorities, progress, and trade-offs across teams and to executive stakeholders.

• Utilize qualitative insights, product intuition, market context, and data to make informed prioritization decisions and drive measurable outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management or ownership, preferably in a technology company, developer-focused product, platform business, or high-growth startup.

• Background in APIs, platforms, automation tools, or ecosystem-driven product strategies.

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical fluency gained through experience.

• Demonstrated ability to own product strategy, roadmap, and execution comprehensively.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer-facing functions.

• Strong capability to understand and discuss technical concepts, product trade-offs, and architectural considerations with engineering teams.

• Proven success in building products for technical users, particularly developers or similar demanding user groups.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly across various audiences and levels of seniority.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with a strong focus on action.

• Strong product judgment, prioritization skills, and comfort operating amidst ambiguity.

• Experience guiding products from discovery to launch and through post-launch iteration and growth.

• Familiarity with agile product development and lean, iterative methodologies.

• Experience in developing products, integrations, or workflows for AI agents, AI-native developer tools, or agentic coding environments.

• Deep understanding of what constitutes an excellent developer experience in tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, and similar ecosystems.

• Experience in creating products for software developers or technical practitioners who utilize AI in their daily workflows.
