AI Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage one or two active client relationships as the primary point of contact, ensuring the project stays on course from initiation through iterations.

• Transform unclear client requirements into well-defined specifications, a prioritized backlog, and an actionable plan for the team.

• Oversee sprints, handle timelines, and make trade-offs regarding scope and resources to ensure continuous delivery.

• Establish standards for AI output quality, define acceptance criteria, and create an evaluation strategy.

• Identify blockers and scope changes early, proposing a recommended solution.

• Guide the daily activities of designers and engineers on your project, aligning their priorities and removing obstacles for the team.

• Collaborate closely with our AI Strategists on project transitions, ongoing scope refinement, and shaping future work phases as the partnership develops.

• Produce polished client-facing materials and communications regarding project plans, product decisions, and associated risks and mitigations.

• Create replicable processes across projects, experiment with AI-first methodologies, and disseminate insights throughout the product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience managing client engagements in dynamic environments such as top-tier consulting firms, finance, AI consultancies, AI startups, or technology roles with direct deployment.

• Proven history of delivering well-conceived AI products or features.

• An AI-native mindset: you utilize AI tools daily and approach challenges from first principles regarding AI capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: you can independently lead client meetings, craft clear communications, and facilitate team alignment.

• Comfort with technical concepts and a willingness to enhance your knowledge independently. While you don't need to write production code, you utilize AI tools and comprehend the needs of technical stakeholders.

• A sense of ownership. References describe you as someone who takes charge rather than someone who requires management.

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the fast-paced nature of an early-stage company.
