AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire architecture and development process for intricate fintech platforms, encompassing frontend user interfaces, backend APIs, and database schemas.

• Leverage Claude Code and Cursor on a daily basis for all production development tasks. You will excel in prompt decomposition, context injection, constraint specification, and guiding multi-step builds through complex codebases.

• Establish and uphold target technical architectures across the entire stack. Your role involves rigorously reviewing all AI-generated code outputs for accuracy, security, performance, and compliance with established conventions.

• Construct and oversee AI-driven systems (such as automated extraction systems and conversational interfaces) utilizing the Anthropic API and various LLMs.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to influence product decisions, translating product intent into actionable briefs and technical specifications that can be executed by AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrated daily utilization of Claude Code, Cursor, and Anthropic APIs for the development and deployment of production software.

• Extensive knowledge of modern web development stacks. The preferred stack includes React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, PostgreSQL (Supabase), and AWS.

• A strong intuition for discerning when to reject an AI's strategy, when to enhance it, and when to allow it to proceed.

• Experience in product engineering, particularly within startups. You are adept at swiftly and efficiently translating product intent into functional software.

• Proven experience in architecting complex platforms that involve multi-partner orchestration, pricing calculators, and extensive API integrations.
