AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the essential multiplatform document system. You will oversee features from conception to deployment, including React frontends, Node.js/Express backends, and PostgreSQL, alongside Databricks integration and data layers.

• Ship to learn. Actively implement features, assess their impact, gather user feedback, and adjust or discontinue based on your findings. You view metrics as a guiding tool rather than a report card.

• Design and orchestrate agentic AI workflows utilizing contemporary frameworks (LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, MCP protocols) and seamlessly integrate LLMs into product features through prompt chains, tool calling, and function execution.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and leadership to influence the product roadmap. You will have a genuine voice in determining what gets developed and the rationale behind it.

• Create, manage, and enhance automation pipelines, connecting them with AI agents, external APIs, webhooks, and cloud services on GCP.

• Participate in database schema design (PostgreSQL, BigQuery), construct and maintain RESTful APIs, and assist in managing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python, capable of quickly building and utilizing a diverse range of libraries as needed.

• 2–5 years of full-stack experience in a high-output team. You understand how to balance speed and quality and know when to prioritize one over the other.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript & React on the frontend (Hooks, Context API, Vite, Shadcn UI) and backend (Node.js, Express, REST APIs, PostgreSQL).

• You possess a good eye for design. You can differentiate between excellent and poor UX, and you're able to provide examples to illustrate your point.

• You are AI-native, instinctively reaching for agents, comprehending MCP and agentic orchestration patterns, and have implemented guardrails to enhance trust in them. Python expertise for rapid prototyping is essential.

• You are self-motivated and aware of business needs. You focus on solving real issues and positively impacting metrics, not merely shipping features. Provide you with context, and you’ll identify the leverage.
