AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Gather and clarify business requirements with stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and define success metrics.

• Convert requirements into technical specifications, user stories, data models, and acceptance criteria.

• Design and lead AI agents utilizing prompting, tool/function calling, orchestration, and evaluation.

• Develop MVPs from start to finish across frontend, backend, APIs, and data.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production solutions, including CI/CD, observability, and cost/performance optimization.

• Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to reliable solution with measurable business value.

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, designers, Product Manager, IT, external stakeholders, and end-users.

• Identify and evaluate potential solutions based on technical and business feasibility.

• Analyze requirements and establish software use cases and functional requirements.

• Create and update functional and technical documentation of business processes.

• Manage, prioritize, trace, verify, and validate requirements.

• Oversee the backlog and facilitate backlog activities as necessary.

• Supervise test implementation, collect user feedback, and suggest functional enhancements.

• Select and implement essential tools, technologies, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated full-stack development experience, including Python/Node.js backend and React or comparable frontend framework.

• Practical experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks, such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs, or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience with prompt design, RAG, and tool/function integration.

• Ability to independently gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Experience in delivering MVPs within tight timelines.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker; and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in REST/GraphQL API design and integration.

• Familiarity with relational and/or vector databases.

• Strong English communication skills and capability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Plus: experience with AI agent evaluation, observability tools, guardrails, MLOps/LLMOps, prompt versioning, GDPR/data privacy and security, telecom or enterprise product environments, and taking AI products from concept to production.
