This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client engagements from the strategic phase through to execution.
• Direct complex AI and digital transformation initiatives from the initial assessment to roadmap formulation, implementation planning, and execution support.
• Break down ambiguous client challenges into clear hypotheses, structured workplans, analyses, decision points, and executive-ready deliverables.
• Manage daily engagement delivery, which includes workstream planning, team leadership, synthesis, quality assurance, issue resolution, timelines, and client communication.
• Conduct executive workshops to align senior stakeholders across business, technology, data, risk, and operations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leaders on the potential for AI to deliver measurable value and the necessary steps for responsible scaling.
• Identify and rank AI opportunities in areas such as productivity, growth, customer experience, decision-making, software delivery, and operational efficiency.
• Perform AI maturity and readiness evaluations across strategy, data, platforms, governance, talent, processes, and change management.
• Develop actionable AI roadmaps that prioritize pilots, platform enablers, governance measures, operating model adjustments, and milestones for value realization.
• Create business cases and value-tracking methodologies that link AI initiatives to quantifiable client outcomes.
• Assist clients in reengineering workflows and operational processes to harness value from AI, automation, and agent-assisted work methods.
• Convert business priorities into implementation-ready projects in collaboration with architects, engineers, data specialists, and security/governance experts.
• Define pilot scopes, success metrics, adoption strategies, governance needs, and pathways for scaling.
• Ensure that AI recommendations are pragmatic, credible, and aligned with enterprise technology realities.
• Facilitate communication between executive stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams across one or more client workstreams.
• Mentor consultants and specialists through structured problem-solving, client interactions, synthesis, and executive-ready deliverables.
• Foster a high-performance team culture with clear accountability, constructive feedback, and consistent quality standards.
• Contribute to the development of reusable methods, tools, templates, and delivery strategies for AHEAD’s AI Services practice.
• Identify follow-on opportunities within client projects and assist in transitioning from initial advisory work to extensive transformation initiatives.
• Engage in proposals, solution design, client presentations, and account development efforts.
• Aid in the enhancement of AHEAD’s AI services, perspectives, go-to-market strategies, and thought leadership.
• Keep abreast of enterprise AI trends, including generative AI, agentic AI, AI governance, responsible AI, AI-enabled software delivery, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.
• Generally, 7–12+ years of experience in management consulting, technology advisory, digital transformation, enterprise technology, AI strategy, or similar client-facing roles.
• Demonstrated experience in leading client engagements, workstreams, or project teams with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong structured problem-solving capabilities, including the skill to dissect ambiguous issues, formulate hypotheses, perform analyses, synthesize insights, and convey recommendations.
• Exceptional executive communication and facilitation abilities, with experience in creating and presenting materials suitable for senior leadership.
• Familiarity in one or more of the following domains: AI strategy, digital transformation, use case prioritization, business case development, process redesign, automation, operating model design, AI governance, or technology-driven transformation.
• Adequate AI and technology fluency to engage credibly with business leaders, CIO/CTO offices, architects, engineers, data teams, and risk/governance stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor talent, manage timelines, and uphold high standards for client-ready deliverables.
• Preferred qualifications include a background in top-tier management consulting, Big 4 advisory, technology consulting, enterprise transformation, or a similarly high-performing professional services setting.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience with AI, data, cloud, software delivery, MLOps, responsible AI, or enterprise technology platforms.
• Experience assisting clients in transitioning from strategy and roadmap formulation to pilot execution, implementation, adoption, and value realization.
• Previous experience in supporting business development, proposal creation, account growth, or practice-building initiatives.
