This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Develop and manage the internal platform that integrates AI agents with human engineers.
• Influence the evolution of AI tools within the organization.
• Determine the architecture, implement infrastructure as code, and be responsible for runbooks.
• Define, create, and deploy internal tools, dashboards, AI agents, and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with department heads to pinpoint AI requirements and craft workflows.
• Oversee identity management, endpoint management, and access reviews to enhance team productivity.
• Convert stakeholder challenges into detailed technical specifications.
• 5-10 years of experience, having started as a developer and transitioned into DevOps or platform engineering, while continuously writing code. You possess enough experience to form informed opinions on effective practices.
• Experience managing small teams (2-5 individuals) successfully, without letting management responsibilities distract you from hands-on work.
• Strong organizational discipline; you recognize drift as a challenge. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and documentation remain up-to-date because you maintain them proactively.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various functions. You can engage with leaders in sales, finance, or operations, discern the underlying issues beyond the stated problems, and leave with a practical specification.
• Regularly utilize AI coding tools in your day-to-day tasks, not due to external encouragement, but because you have independently explored them and found them beneficial.
• Comfortable navigating uncertainty; you don’t wait for a roadmap to be handed to you; you create it yourself.
