AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of configuring, tooling, and infrastructure for a dedicated AI assistant tailored for engineers.

• Design, implement, and enhance a team of autonomous agents that streamline engineering operations.

• Transition agents from initial concept to production, incorporating API and chat functionalities.

• Ensure platform reliability across diverse technologies and tools.

• Author and refine workflows for complex engineering tasks.

• Develop and sustain automated validation pipelines.

• Oversee platform cost management and performance optimization.

• Monitor the AI tooling landscape to keep the platform up-to-date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency in building software, applications, scripts, or services using Python or a similar general-purpose programming language.

• Understanding of software development principles, including version control, testing, debugging, and code review.

• Practical experience in developing, deploying, operating, or troubleshooting software within a Linux environment.

• Hands-on experience with implementing, integrating, extending, or operating Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Capability to articulate the application of MCP in linking AI systems to tools or external systems.

• Practical experience in constructing an AI agent or a workflow powered by LLM that accomplishes significant tasks.

• Experience in building or integrating a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflow.
