AI Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Carry out security evaluations of AI systems, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and machine learning applications.

• Conduct adversarial testing that includes prompt injection, jailbreaks, model manipulation, and abuse-case evaluations.

• Implement testing for application, API, and cloud security in support of AI-driven solutions.

• Create repeatable methodologies, tools, and automation for AI security testing.

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to validate and address identified issues.

• Generate technical reports and executive summaries that convey risks and recommendations.

• Investigate emerging threats and attack methods related to AI.

• Assist in red team exercises that involve AI-focused attack scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 7+ years of pertinent experience.

• A degree from a post-secondary institution in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

• Several Information Security certifications from a recognized organization (e.g., (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS).

• Extensive experience in penetration testing across web applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Practical experience in evaluating AI/LLM technologies, AI agents, machine learning models, or generative AI applications.

• Profound understanding of offensive security practices and adversarial attack strategies.

• Familiarity with Python scripting and the development/automation of security tools.

• Awareness of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and the emerging risks associated with OWASP LLM Security.

• Experience in threat modeling and conducting security assessments.

• Strong grasp of authentication, authorization, identity, and cloud security principles.

• Capability to document findings and recommendations for remediation clearly.
