AI Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Assume operational responsibility for the configuration, reliability, and technical standards of Storm's AI tools and platforms.

• Direct the AI Operations team's technical response in cases where AI tools, platforms, or foundational capabilities evolve.

• Establish and maintain technical operational standards for AI tools within the scope of the AI Operations team.

• Enhance transparency regarding AI tool configuration, AI platform usage, access management, and operational performance.

• Recognize weak, unstable, or high-friction operations within AI tooling, devise technical solutions, and ensure they are sustainable and scalable.

• Provide leadership with clearer insights into the performance reliability of the AI tooling stack, areas of fragility, and necessary changes to AI platforms or tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in the operational management of technical platforms, particularly AI tools or platforms.

• High level of agency and strong accountability for technical operational results.

• Effective decision-making in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

• Capability to prioritize challenging trade-offs on a technical platform stack and make decisive actions.

• Ability to drive technical operational enhancements through to completion, rather than merely proposing them.

• Clear and direct technical communication skills, coupled with the confidence to uphold technical standards.

• Strong familiarity with AI tools and platforms, along with an instinctive understanding of the rapid pace of change in the AI tooling landscape.

• Robust technical proficiency in AI platforms, including LLM platform configuration, prompt and agent setup, AI tool APIs and integrations, AI tool permissions, AI-related automation, and dependencies within AI workflows.

• Sound judgment on when to take action, when to seek assistance, and how to bridge user requirements with the realities of AI platforms.

• Energy, discipline, and commitment to maintaining a sustained operational pace.
