AI Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Assume operational responsibility for the configuration, dependability, and technical standards of Storm's AI tools and platforms.

• Direct the technical response of the AI Operations team in the event of changes to AI tools, platforms, or foundational capabilities.

• Establish and maintain technical operational standards for AI tooling within the scope of the AI Operations team.

• Enhance transparency regarding AI tool configurations, usage of AI platforms, administration of AI tool access, and operational performance of AI platforms.

• Identify subpar, unstable, or high-friction operations within AI tooling, devise technical solutions, and ensure they are sustainable and scalable.

• Provide leadership with clearer insights into the reliability of the AI tooling stack, areas of fragility, and necessary upcoming changes to AI platforms or tools.

• Proven experience in the operational management of technical platforms, particularly AI tools or platforms.

• High agency and a strong sense of ownership regarding technical operational results.

• Effective decision-making skills in uncertain and fast-paced environments.

• Capability to prioritize challenging trade-offs on a technical platform stack and make decisive actions.

• Ability to see technical operational enhancements through to completion rather than merely suggesting them.

• Clear and direct technical communication skills, along with the confidence to uphold technical standards.

• In-depth understanding of AI tools and platforms, with a strong intuition for the rapid evolution of the AI tooling landscape.

• Strong technical knowledge of AI platforms, specifically in areas such as LLM platform configuration, prompt and agent configuration, AI tool APIs and integrations, AI tool permissions, AI-related automation, and AI workflow dependencies.

• Good judgment regarding when to take action, when to seek assistance, and how to bridge the gap between user requirements and the realities of AI platforms.

• Energy, discipline, and perseverance to maintain a sustained operational pace.
