AI Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Assume operational responsibility for the configuration, reliability, and technical standards of Storm's AI tools and platforms.

• Direct the AI Operations team's technical response to changes in AI tools, platforms, or their underlying capabilities.

• Establish and maintain technical operational standards for AI tools managed by the AI Operations team.

• Enhance transparency regarding AI tool configuration, platform usage, access administration, and operational performance.

• Identify weak, unstable, or friction-prone operations of AI tools, develop technical solutions, and ensure they are sustainable and scalable.

• Provide leadership with clearer insights into the reliability of the AI tooling stack, areas of fragility, and necessary changes to AI platforms or tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing technical platforms, particularly AI tools or platforms.

• High degree of agency and strong accountability for technical operational results.

• Effective decision-making capabilities in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

• Ability to prioritize significant trade-offs within a technical platform stack and act decisively.

• Proven track record of driving technical operational improvements to completion rather than merely proposing them.

• Clear and direct technical communication skills, along with the confidence to uphold technical standards.

• Strong expertise in AI tools and platforms, with an acute awareness of the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape.

• Solid technical understanding of AI platforms, specifically in areas such as LLM platform configuration, prompt and agent setup, AI tool APIs and integrations, access permissions, AI-related automation, and workflow dependencies.

• Good judgment on when to take action, when to seek assistance, and how to bridge user requirements with AI platform realities.

• Energy, discipline, and commitment to maintaining a sustained operational pace.
