AI Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Act as the technical subject matter expert and primary advocate for our implementation, collaborating with the HR department across various teams to facilitate technical requests and access, identify productivity constraints, and execute impactful AI use cases.

• Establish, track, and report on enterprise AI expenditures by department, developing structured dashboards to ensure optimized resource distribution and financial efficiency throughout our SaaS toolkit.

• Collaborate with Information Security and legal teams to evaluate and assess new AI tools and vendors, confirming the methods for implementing connectivity.

• Work alongside internal infrastructure and security platform engineering teams to translate evolving technical AI guidelines into seamless business support policies.

• Design and document long-term support processes, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a smooth transition of daily AI ticket triaging, troubleshooting, and license management to the broader IT support team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in agentic AI, IT operations, and business systems facilitation, along with 4 years of technical program management experience.

• Practical technical experience in deploying, configuring, or supporting generative AI productivity suites (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI/ChatGPT Enterprise, or Microsoft Copilot) within corporate settings.

• Hands-on experience with frontier LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, and vector/retrieval systems.

• Strong foundation in general software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.

• Capability to design using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and link AI systems to existing internal legacy databases and web APIs.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities, with experience in creating dashboard telemetry using APIs (e.g., utilizing Sheets, SQL, Looker, or similar BI tools) to gather data across platforms for tracking API usage, software licensing, or operational expenses.

• Outstanding agility and communication skills, with a proven track record of simplifying complex technical tools for non-technical users and coordinating efforts across IT, Security, and Engineering.

• Successfully designed and executed repeatable AI-enabled workflows that alleviate team bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.

• A proactive attitude combined with an insatiable curiosity for learning.
