AI Native Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver engaging product experiences across web, mobile, AI-native, and innovative interfaces.

• Transform vague product briefs into functional prototypes and tangible deliverables, rather than just static designs.

• Integrate AI tools and agents as essential elements in your workflow to design, prototype, and generate operational code.

• Work closely with engineering leads on larger projects while independently managing the implementation for prototypes, MVPs, and smaller products.

• Clearly present your work to clients and internal teams, maintaining high design quality while adapting to the demands of the project.

• Enhance, test, and refine the design tools and AI workflows themselves, providing constructive feedback to R&D based on genuine insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in product design within a digital product agency, studio, or consultancy.

• Strong foundation in UI/UX principles: systems thinking, product intuition, and the ability to thoughtfully structure flows, interactions, and behaviors under real client constraints.

• You don’t just use AI; you develop with it, likely during your personal projects or hobbies. You’ve utilized tools like Cursor, v0, Lovable, Claude, or similar to create something substantial.

• Adept enough with frontend concepts (components, layout, responsive design, basic state) to effectively guide AI coding tools and identify incorrect outputs.

• A tendency to quickly bring ideas to life, with the discernment to recognize when refinement is essential.

• Enthusiastic about keeping up with how AI is transforming product design, possessing a personal perspective on what approaches are effective and which are not.

• Comfortable collaborating with R&D, experimenting with new tools and integrating the insights back into the broader organizational design processes.
