AI Knowledge Manager – Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the semantic knowledge layer that drives SAP Fioneer's Banking AI solutions.

• Organize, curate, and enrich product knowledge utilizing consistent metadata to guarantee accurate retrieval and high-quality AI responses.

• Detect knowledge gaps and address them by creating documentation, commissioning content, or gathering insights from subject matter experts.

• Establish and uphold strategies for incorporating project-specific knowledge into AI solutions, including golden sources, grounding content, and reusable knowledge assets.

• Evaluate low-quality AI responses, pinpoint their root causes (e.g., missing content, retrieval problems, metadata inconsistencies), and implement sustainable enhancements.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously grow evaluation datasets ("golden datasets") to assess and enhance AI answer quality.

• Define and uphold content governance standards, which encompass classification, access management, legal review, and content lifecycle management.

• Create feedback mechanisms that convert user interactions into structured knowledge enhancements in close collaboration with AI engineers.

• Collaborate with Banking experts, Product Management, Consulting, and AI Engineering to consistently elevate the quality of our AI-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Domain knowledge: a foundational understanding of banking processes and our documentation landscape (product handbooks, IMG documentation, configuration material), sufficient to independently assess whether an answer is substantively accurate.

• AI and RAG literacy: a basic understanding of how retrieval-augmented generation operates to evaluate the relevance of AI and identify any inaccuracies in answers, without needing to build the system.

• Analytical QA mindset: comfortable handling evaluation datasets and capable of tracing inadequate answers back to their content origins in a structured, evidence-based manner.

• Professional experience in related fields such as banking domain knowledge management, domain business analysis with SAP/banking background, or a project/product-facing role within the banking sector.

• Ability to elevate the quality of our solutions to the next level.

• Familiarity with content landscapes based on Confluence and SharePoint.
