This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement agentic AI workflows that streamline repetitive, high-volume engineering tasks such as CVE triage and support ticket management.
• Utilize the DataRobot platform — encompassing AutoML, GenAI tools, and MLOps features — to design, assess, and deliver solutions.
• Convert vague team challenges into clearly defined AI/ML problems with specific success metrics.
• Operate independently on established project outputs while maintaining alignment with your mentor and team.
• Report on progress through organized weekly updates and a concluding Intern Showcase presentation to DataRobot leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to gain insights and produce impactful work.
• Thoroughly document your efforts to ensure findings and solutions can be transferred and built upon after the program.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy) and comfortable with data manipulation and scripting.
• Basic understanding of machine learning principles — including supervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
• A strong enthusiasm for autonomous agents — with experience in creating systems that perform actions rather than merely engaging in conversation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and appropriately escalate challenges.
• Nice to Have:
• Previous hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex).
• Familiarity with the DataRobot platform or other MLOps/AutoML tools.
• Experience in API development (FastAPI, Flask) or containerization (Docker).
• Previous internship, research, or project experience applying ML to real-world challenges.
• Familiarity with or interest in DevSecOps concepts, CVE triage, or support engineering workflows.
• Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance.
• Flexible Time Off Program.
• Paid Holidays.
• Paid Parental Leave.
• Global Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and more!
