AI Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, review, and uphold corporate AI Governance (Responsible AI) policies, guidelines, and frameworks that align with business, technology, data, and control functions;

• Act as the corporate authority on AI Governance, providing guidance to business units on the proper utilization of AI models, encompassing predictive models, generative models, and intelligent automation;

• Design and maintain the governance framework for the lifecycle of AI solutions, from ideation to ongoing monitoring (model lifecycle management);

• Establish standards for the development, validation, deployment, and monitoring of AI models, including criteria such as explainability, fairness (algorithmic bias), robustness, reliability, and observability;

• Identify and manage risks associated with AI, including operational, reputational, ethical, and regulatory risks;

• Contribute to the definition and monitoring of controls for the responsible application of AI, ensuring adherence to regulations (e.g., LGPD, GDPR, AI Act – where applicable) and internal policies;

• Assist in defining adoption and prioritization criteria for AI initiatives based on business value, complexity, risk, and area maturity;

• Ensure traceability and documentation of AI models, including artifacts such as model cards, data lineage, versioning, and validation criteria;

• Serve as the corporate contact for AI-related topics, fostering collaboration between business areas, IT, Data, Analytics, innovation, and global teams;

• Support projects from inception, ensuring alignment with governance principles and responsible AI practices;

• Organize and facilitate forums, committees, and decision-making bodies concerning AI, providing analyses, recommendations, and strategic insight;

• Encourage the propagation of a culture centered on responsible AI use, which includes awareness, training, and safe adoption initiatives;

• Guarantee that information security requirements are integrated at every phase of the AI solutions lifecycle (Security by Design);

• Aid in the security assessment of the AI supply chain, including pre-trained models, third-party datasets, and external APIs;

• Collaborate with Information Security to establish incident response protocols for AI systems;

• Support the oversight and control of unauthorized use of AI tools (Shadow AI);

• Assist in structuring AI Red Teaming processes and conducting adversarial testing of AI models prior to production deployment;

• Define, in collaboration with Information Security, access controls (RBAC), data protection within AI pipelines, and data residency requirements;

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in AI Governance (Responsible AI) and related frameworks;

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI model lifecycle management;

• Proficiency in risk management for AI-driven solutions;

• Understanding of AI ethics, algorithmic bias, and model explainability;

• Familiarity with Data Governance as it pertains to AI;

• Knowledge of information security and data privacy regulations (LGPD, GDPR, etc.);

• Experience in structuring governance frameworks for AI or Advanced Analytics;

• Awareness of industry best practices such as DAMA-DMBOK (data context), NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OECD AI;

• Understanding of Principles / Responsible AI frameworks (e.g., Microsoft, Google, or similar);

• Familiarity with data architecture and AI platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure ML, etc.);

• Experience with agile methodologies and governance in digital settings;

• Knowledge of BI, Analytics, and Data Engineering;
