AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with the launch, ongoing enhancement, and management of our AI platforms and services.

• You will analyze emerging technologies, features, and integrations to formulate sustainable strategies for our platforms.

• You will ensure that our AI ecosystem remains secure, scalable, and prepared for the future.

• You will create governance models, role and permission frameworks, as well as technical guidelines for AI usage.

• You will collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, and other stakeholders to responsibly deploy new AI capabilities.

• You will evaluate platforms, integrations, and new AI services regarding risks, compliance, and technical viability.

• You will take ownership of emerging questions and requirements related to AI.

• You will analyze requirements, propose recommended actions, and guide topics methodically through to implementation.

• You will assist business units in the safe and efficient utilization of AI and serve as a technical consultant for Business, Security, and Engineering.

• When necessary, you will engage hands-on in integrations, automations, architectural concepts, and platform solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess several years of experience in developing, managing, or advancing platforms, cloud solutions, or technical services.

• You have experience with contemporary AI platforms and the AI ecosystem (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Azure AI, Vertex AI, Bedrock, or similar technologies).

• You have a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, as well as role and permission frameworks.

• You are acquainted with security, governance, and compliance standards in an enterprise environment.

• You can prepare, evaluate, and convey technical decisions in a structured and traceable manner.

• You work autonomously, pragmatically, and with a solution-focused approach.

• You are adept at organizing and advancing complex or ambiguous issues.

• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are passionate about new technologies and their potential benefits for the company.
