• Develop production AI systems: design and integrate LLMs into actual product workflows.

• Create dependable LLM architectures: construct robust systems and implement safeguards and observability into features.

• Establish evaluation and experimentation frameworks: generate evaluation datasets and tools to assess model performance.

• Construct retrieval and knowledge systems: enhance retrieval pipelines that support LLM applications.

• Deliver high-quality product features: work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to create refined AI features.

• Uphold strong engineering standards: produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to system architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid engineering fundamentals: a minimum of five years of experience in creating production systems.

• Experience with LLM systems: background in developing systems utilizing large language models in production settings.

• Evaluation-oriented mindset: proficiency in constructing evaluation frameworks, designing datasets, and enhancing system design.

• Knowledge of retrieval and embedding systems: experience with retrieval augmented generation systems, embeddings, and vector databases.

• Understanding of LLM fundamentals: comprehending how contemporary language models function conceptually.

• Intuition for AI systems: awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of LLMs in real-world applications.

• Comfort with experimentation and iteration: adeptness in conducting experiments across prompts, models, and system designs.
