AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Create and develop features powered by LLMs and build AI agent pipelines — from inception to deployment.

• Enhance and optimize our RAG/knowledge base system: including chunking strategies, embedding models, vector search, hybrid retrieval (BM25 + semantic), and reranking.

• Implement workflows that utilize agents with tool use, multi-step reasoning, and structured outputs.

• Develop document and email processing pipelines that utilize LLMs for tasks such as classification, extraction, and summarization.

• Integrate and oversee LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and AI SDKs throughout the technology stack.

• Design evaluation frameworks and feedback mechanisms to assess and consistently enhance the quality of AI outputs.

• Create and refine agents for our expanding template library.

• Operate within an AI-first development environment powered by Claude/Cursor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of practical experience in building production AI systems with LLMs — focusing on systems that operate reliably at scale, not just prototypes.

• Extensive knowledge of RAG architectures: including chunking, embedding models, vector search, hybrid retrieval, and reranking.

• Experience with AI SDKs and frameworks (such as Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).

• Proficient in English for asynchronous remote collaboration; German language skills are not necessary.

• Strong technical understanding and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks.

• Comfortable working under performance pressure.

• Quick learner with a disciplined work approach.
