This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement backend systems that drive agentic workflows across LLM, deterministic, and hybrid pipelines.
• Take ownership and enhance core infrastructure such as context memory, orchestration layers, and prompt routing systems.
• Create composable multimodal systems capable of dynamically executing workflows from unstructured inputs (text, audio, video, images).
• Optimize the latency, extensibility, reliability, and inference costs of multi-agent pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to rigorously test workflows in real-world scenarios.
• Assist in making informed decisions about the use of LLMs versus traditional systems—and how to effectively implement both.
• Develop and enhance GraphRAG-based knowledge retrieval systems utilizing Neo4j.
• Integrate and orchestrate LLM calls for document processing workflows.
• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering, ideally using Go or comparable systems languages.
• Successfully deployed agentic LLM systems in production environments (not prototypes or demos).
• Experienced in building real-time systems, distributed asynchronous queues, or performance-sensitive services.
• In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering, token budgeting, and context management.
• Strong intuition about the appropriate use of AI—and when it may not be suitable.
• Strong ability to thrive in small, high-trust teams with significant ownership.
• Familiarity with RAG, embedding stores, and vector databases.
• Experience in designing evaluations for AI agents and workflows.
• Knowledge of tool orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of the architectural trade-offs associated with agentic systems, RAG, MCP, memory, and orchestrations.
• Capability to navigate the limitations of cutting-edge LLM technologies.
• Background in AI safety, observability, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Preference for building systems that are straightforward, scalable, and "good enough," without compromising maintainability or future adaptability.
• Familiar with small-team dynamics characterized by high trust, low ego, and shared accountability.
• Competitive salary
• Meaningful equity
• Medical, dental, and vision healthcare benefits
• Flexible PTO policy
• 401k
• Disability insurance
• Remote-first culture
