AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop AI-driven features, pipelines, and automation workflows from the ground up.

• Integrate and optimize LLMs, embedding models, and various ML systems into live applications.

• Design and maintain RAG pipelines, vector search systems, and architectures based on agents.

• Produce clean, well-organized code for both backend and API components.

• Assess, benchmark, and refine model outputs to ensure quality and dependability.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define requirements and design AI solutions.

• Keep abreast of developments in the AI field and implement pertinent tools and methodologies.

• Record technical designs, system functionalities, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming and possess foundational software engineering skills.

• Practical experience in building with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Mistral through APIs and SDKs.

• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.

• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or comparable agent frameworks.

• Strong grasp of REST APIs and integration with third-party services or data sources.

• Capable of working independently in a dynamic remote environment.

• Previous remote work experience and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or Asana.

• Ideally, prior experience with companies based in the US or UK; applications lacking required remote experience will be disregarded.

• Experience with model fine-tuning, RLHF, or custom training workflows is preferred.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools and deployment pipelines is advantageous.

• Exposure to multimodal systems is a plus.

• Background in data engineering or experience with large-scale structured/unstructured data is preferred.

• Contributions to open-source AI projects or a public AI portfolio are favored.

• Availability to work in US time zones (EST–PST) is required.

• Fluent English proficiency is essential for the application process.
