This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute the AI strategy to enhance the adoption of AI technologies throughout the client organization.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to set up an on-premises AI server.
• Incorporate AI functionalities, such as prompt orchestration, tool/function calling, embeddings, and fine-tuning, into various applications and services.
• Work alongside data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams to refine use cases, deliver POCs/MVPs, and prepare them for scalability.
• Adhere to responsible AI practices and comply with security requirements across both commercial and public sector environments.
• Drive digital transformation projects utilizing AI technologies to enhance mission success and operational efficiencies.
• Possession of an active and maintained “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in software, data, RAG architecture/vector databases, or ML engineering.
• Proven experience in building and managing cloud-native services, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
• A minimum of two (2) years specifically focused on Generative AI/LLM technologies.
• At least one (1) year of experience optimizing token efficiency and cost management in production LLM applications, which includes prompt compression, caching, context window management, or model routing.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing on-premises, self-hosted model infrastructure.
• Experience architecting scalable hybrid AI/ML solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud infrastructure end-to-end.
• Familiarity with AI security concepts such as adversarial robustness, model access controls, and data protection in restricted environments.
• Proficiency in common data science tools, particularly R, Python, and MATLAB, with a strong emphasis on Python.
• Capability to produce clear documentation and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience contributing to client-facing engineering roles in consulting or product settings.
• Background in engaging with end-users to gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Experience working with technical teams throughout the complete software development life cycle.
• Understanding of organizational planning and project management related to lifecycle development processes.
