AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement production-ready AI systems integrated into the payments infrastructure.

• Develop and operationalize a locally hosted AI platform for investigating payment failures.

• Create an agent powered by LLM for autonomous analysis of payment failures.

• Establish internal LLM infrastructure without reliance on external APIs.

• Generate structured workflows for identifying root causes of transaction failures.

• Automate Level 1 incident investigations to enhance efficiency.

• Enhance model performance to decrease Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).

• Construct reusable internal AI infrastructure and scalable workflows.

• Integrate AI into operational processes, achieving measurable improvements in efficiency.

• Implement version-controlled datasets, model versioning, and automated drift detection.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI Engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).

• Experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, and retrieval systems.

• Proven track record of deploying ML systems in production settings (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

• Experience in building inference pipelines and monitoring systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of evaluation metrics and ML governance practices.

• Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in fintech or payments.
