AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the introduction, ongoing development, and management of our AI platforms and services.

• You will assess new technologies, capabilities, and integrations, translating them into sustainable platform strategies.

• You will ensure the security, scalability, and future-readiness of our AI landscape.

• You will design governance frameworks, role and permission models, and technical guidelines for AI usage across the organization.

• You will collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, and other stakeholders to responsibly introduce new AI capabilities.

• You will evaluate platforms, integrations, and AI services concerning risk, compliance, and technical feasibility.

• You will take ownership of emerging AI-related challenges and business requirements.

• You will analyze requirements, develop recommendations, and drive initiatives through to implementation.

• You will assist business teams in effectively and securely adopting AI while serving as a trusted technical advisor for Business, Security, and Engineering.

• When necessary, you will remain hands-on and contribute to integrations, automation initiatives, architecture concepts, and platform solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess several years of experience in building, operating, or evolving platforms, cloud solutions, or technical services.

• You bring practical experience with modern AI platforms and ecosystems (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Azure AI, Vertex AI, Bedrock, or similar technologies).

• You have a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, and role-based access concepts.

• You are knowledgeable about security, governance, and compliance requirements within an enterprise environment.

• You can effectively structure, evaluate, and communicate technical decisions.

• You work independently, pragmatically, and possess a strong solution-oriented mindset.

• You are adept at bringing structure to complex or ambiguous topics and advancing them.

• You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are enthusiastic about exploring emerging technologies and their business potential.
