AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create essential features and applications, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.

• Design, develop, and sustain both front-end and back-end components of web applications, guaranteeing a smooth user experience.

• Benchmark, analyze, and enhance web applications for scalability, security, and responsiveness.

• Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring high standards of software quality.

• Engage in code reviews, documentation, and the establishment of coding standards.

• Interest in and experience with early-stage software development and a diverse range of tasks.

• Demonstrated experience with technology and its role in building enduring products.

• Preferred M.Sc or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Experience with both compiled languages (Rust, OCaml, Golang, Java, C#) and dynamic languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby).

• Proficiency in building web applications or desktop applications utilizing technologies such as Electron, Tauri, React, or Vue.js.

• Understanding of CI/CD principles and technologies, including familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis, Neo4j, Milvus, or MongoDB, along with a solid grasp of data consistency trade-offs.

• Proven knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
