This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, and deploy production AI agents that plan, utilize tools, and accomplish multi-step tasks across the Brilliant Harvest platform.
• Implement agent orchestration, memory management, tool integrations, safety measures, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints for critical actions.
• Assess agents comprehensively by measuring task success, tool-call accuracy, costs, and latency.
• Create, develop, test, document, and maintain production features for the AI platform, including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations.
• Construct and enhance document ingestion pipelines that encompass parsing, chunking, enrichment, and indexing.
• Investigate quality issues related to agents and answers across tool calls, retrieval, and ingestion to ascertain root causes.
• Develop and uphold evaluation datasets and automated checks, including the use of LLM-as-judge.
• Prototype new LLMs, agent frameworks, and tools, sharing insights that inform model and vendor decisions.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and code evaluations.
• Write clean, well-tested code while adhering to coding standards and CI/CD practices.
• Utilize AI-first development workflows while critically assessing generated outputs.
• Analyze feature requirements, break down tasks, and provide estimates of effort.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Design, and QA teams to deliver features aligned with the roadmap.
• Offer technical feasibility insights on AI feature UI/UX designs and integrate them with backend systems.
