AI-Enabled Solutions Developer, Cloud Engineer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain the Program Management Portal utilizing contemporary web frameworks and database technologies.

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or comparable frameworks.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite solution delivery.

• Convert business requirements into application architecture and functional specifications.

• Create and execute database schemas, APIs, and integration points with existing business systems.

• Perform rapid prototyping to validate concepts with stakeholders.

• Debug, test, and enhance AI-generated code for quality and performance.

• Generate technical documentation for developed solutions.

• Collaborate with program managers to pinpoint automation opportunities and efficiency enhancements.

• Assist with integrations involving enterprise tools such as Smartsheet, financial systems, and reporting platforms.

• Maintain and improve existing applications based on user feedback and evolving needs.

• Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.

• Engage in planning for system deployment and ensure compliance with software standards.

• Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.

• Work closely with program managers and business stakeholders to convert operational requirements into functional applications.

• Develop mobile applications and automation tools that enhance efficiency across the defense services portfolio.

• Coordinate and collaborate with a portal team of 4–5 members for front end/back end support, onboarding, training, and CI/CD initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent along with 9 years of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in software development or technical solution delivery.

• Proficient in modern web development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).

• Experience in mobile application development (React Native, Flutter, or native).

• Solid understanding of database design and SQL.

• Familiarity with API development (REST, GraphQL).

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex requirements into technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Practical experience using AI-enabled coding tools to develop external applications that support program functions such as finance, deliverables, procurement, staffing, and risk tracking.

• Experience working within AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments (CMMC Level 1/2).

• Hands-on software development experience, emphasizing the building and deployment of scalable solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and pipelines.

• Ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with a portal team of 4–5 members for front end/back end support, onboarding, training, and CI/CD efforts.

• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration, updates, and cross-team awareness.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

• Preferred: 5+ years of software development experience across multiple platforms.

• Preferred: Experience with Python, Java, or similar backend languages.

• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Preferred: Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, Smartsheet, Power Platform).

• Preferred: Background in defense contracting or government services.

• Preferred: Understanding of program management concepts and workflows.

• Preferred: Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: Portfolio showcasing AI-assisted development projects.

• Preferred: Experience with DoD or industry-standard applications.
