AI Developer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks.

• Conduct research and analysis to support project goals.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and essential documentation.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.

• Acquire and implement industry best practices and company guidelines.

• Assist in the basic development and testing of AI chatbot features, including prompts, data inputs, and user interactions.

• Aid in troubleshooting and enhancing chatbot performance by helping with debugging, evaluations, and simple integrations.

• Gather, clean, and preprocess large-scale manufacturing datasets.

• Utilize machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to uncover trends, anomalies, and predictive insights.

• Work with engineers and operations teams to convert data findings into actionable recommendations.

• Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's program in a relevant field at an accredited university, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028 (rising junior or rising senior).

• Proven strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

• Must be available for full-time work for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong familiarity with Python, R, or similar programming languages.

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
