AI Developer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain AI-driven spend agent workflows that encompass purchasing, procurement, invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management, and approval processes.

• Deploy agent functionalities for automating workflows, facilitating handoffs, integrating systems, validating data, and providing operational support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, AI Platform, QA/Eval, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Support.

• Assist in monitoring, debugging, regression testing, ensuring release readiness, and resolving issues post-release.

• Convert business process needs into effective technical solutions and workflows that are ready for production.

• Recognize patterns in spend management that can be enhanced through automation, reusable workflows, or platform features.

• Provide support for escalations and continuous enhancement of live spend agent experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development, product engineering, workflow automation, integrations, or enterprise systems.

• Capability to integrate services, tools, data sources, or business systems into dependable workflow experiences.

• Preferably familiar with procurement, finance, invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management, approval processes, or spend management.

• Comfortable collaborating with product managers, operations teams, QA/Eval, platform engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Strong discipline in implementation with respect to testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and production support.

• Interest in AI agents, workflow automation, LLM-powered products, applied AI systems, or business process automation.

• Excellent communication skills regarding delivery status, issues, risks, and support requirements.
