AI Consultant – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical evaluation, design, and responsible implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions.

• Assist in developing and executing enterprise AI strategies.

• Assess AI use cases, vendors, and platforms to ensure they meet organizational standards.

• Advocate for standardized AI governance, processes, and best practices.

• Create secure AI architectures and reusable technical frameworks.

• Develop AI prototypes and perform proof-of-concept (POC) and feasibility evaluations.

• Design and implement AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.

• Construct dashboards and reports to track AI adoption, performance, costs, risks, and operational results.

• Integrate AI functionalities with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

• Offer technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive IT experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in establishing proof-of-concept success criteria and assessing AI solutions.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and similar Generative AI platforms.

• Over 2 years of experience in designing and implementing AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.

• At least 1 year of experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools for development, testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience defining success criteria, KPIs, and production monitoring metrics for AI use cases.

• At least 1 year of experience in creating dashboards and reports for AI adoption, performance, cost, risk, and operational outcomes.

• Over 1 year of hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities with Azure and AWS.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (required).
