AI Coach, AI Augmented Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess learners' AI-enhanced code, specifications, and governance documents — provide constructive and detailed feedback.

• Identify when learners face challenges or are lagging behind and intervene promptly.

• Conduct virtual office hours for questions and hands-on assistance.

• Evaluate not only "does the code function," but also "did the engineer effectively utilize AI" — this involves judgment, not just output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active full-stack software engineer who incorporates AI coding tools in their daily tasks — particularly tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for activities like code generation, refactoring, debugging, or test writing (beyond mere autocomplete suggestions).

• Proficient in reviewing others' code and providing clear, constructive feedback that is specific and actionable, avoiding vague comments like "looks good" or "needs work."

• Dependable and responsive over a span of 12 weeks — consistency is prioritized over brilliance.

• Sufficiently knowledgeable about AI-assisted development to assess how engineers interact with AI, not solely the outputs they generate.

• Preferred: Experience in mentoring, code reviewing, or serving as a bootcamp teaching assistant.

• Background in a regulated or enterprise setting.

• Understanding of spec-driven development or governance documents.
