AI Cinematographer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop cinematic films and motion graphics using generative video tools, ranging from initial concept pieces to completed campaign projects.

• Primarily utilize Kling, our preferred tool, while also having the flexibility to incorporate Seedance and other tools as needed for the project.

• Convert genuine cinematographic techniques — including framing, lensing, lighting, camera movement, and editing rhythm — into prompts, references, and generative workflows that maintain a high standard of taste and quality.

• Create looks and visual environments for spaces that are yet to be built, making them appear convincing and aesthetically pleasing on screen.

• Make informed decisions regarding tool selection — determining which model or method is best suited for a specific shot, and recognizing when a result is adequately polished for release.

• Remain at the forefront of a rapidly evolving field and share valuable insights and techniques that can be effectively utilized.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid foundation in film. Completion of film school or equivalent training, demonstrating a genuine mastery of cinematic language, pacing, and storytelling — specifically in film, not photography. You conceptualize in motion and understand how an individual shot fits within a sequence.

• Proficiency in AI video generation. Practical experience with Kling is particularly important; familiarity with Seedance and other generative tools is also appreciated, along with the discernment to select the appropriate tool for the shot.

• A discerning eye for high-end work. Taste, precision, and restraint suitable for luxury brands, along with an appreciation for architecture and the environments our projects create.

• Ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and the discipline to manage work across different time zones.
