AI Business Automation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead projects to ensure successful execution within Health Plan Services.

• Collaborate across departments including Eligibility, Reconciliation, Claims, Network, and other health plan operations teams.

• Spearhead initiatives to enhance or implement systems, tools, and technologies that aid in eligibility determination, enrollment, and reconciliation.

• Work alongside technical teams and vendors to convert business requirements into effective functional solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents and automation workflows to minimize manual tasks.

• Employ AI-assisted development methodologies to swiftly prototype and deliver functional tools.

• Collect and interpret requirements to identify opportunities for process automation and agent-based AI applications.

• Manage expectations regarding capabilities, accuracy, and associated risks.

• Document project and automation processes to ensure maintainability, handoff, refinement, and governance.

• Monitor and report on project progress, escalating issues as necessary.

• Organize project resources and manage any over-allocated resources effectively.

• Inspire the team to achieve critical deliverables.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to ensure that projects align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.

• At least five (5) years of experience in a project management capacity, preferably within healthcare systems.

• Previous experience in a regulated healthcare setting is essential.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in health plan operations, eligibility, enrollment, or reconciliation systems (Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial).

• Proficiency in exploring, designing, and developing AI agents or automation workflows utilizing AI platforms and tools.

• Experience in directly collaborating with business owners to gather, document, and translate operational requirements into AI agent and automation solutions.

• Capability and willingness to utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).

• Comfortable collaborating with technical teams using low-code/no-code tools.

• Proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form is required prior to employment.

• A Master’s degree and PMP or Six Sigma Certification are preferred.
