This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop internal tools and features for coaches utilizing LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, open-source models).

• Transform unstructured conversational data (WhatsApp threads, coaching notes) into structured, actionable insights.

• Design and uphold prompt chains, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows that truly add value.

• Rapidly prototype, transitioning from concept to working demo within days.

• Assess model outputs, establish evaluations, and refine quality with an emphasis on reliability for coaches.

• Integrate AI into our existing frameworks (platform APIs, databases, WhatsApp, Slack).

• Take ownership of the complete stack of what you deliver: frontend, backend, model integration, and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with coaches. Observe their workflow. Create solutions that reflect their reality rather than adhering strictly to a specification.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of leveraging AI to develop practical tools that users engage with.

• Significant experience in delivering AI-driven products for non-technical users.

• Proficient in working with LLM APIs (function calling, streaming, embeddings) and prompt engineering techniques.

• Comfortable navigating messy, unstructured conversational data.

• Strong product intuition: capable of engaging with a coach or founder to identify genuine needs and build appropriate solutions without extensive specifications.

• Data-oriented: eager to analyze data, often creating new reports to identify root causes that require resolution.

• Familiarity with agentic development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as an integral part of your workflow.

• A builder's mindset regarding handover: you take pride in creating systems that endure beyond your involvement.

• Proficient in English.
