AI Automation Engineer, n8n, AI Workflows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement automation and integration workflows from initial concept to production.

• Create AI-driven solutions that address genuine business challenges and provide measurable operational benefits.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and business units to gather requirements and prioritize automation initiatives.

• Oversee and execute tasks from Jira backlogs and project roadmaps while ensuring high-quality delivery standards.

• Ensure that solutions comply with Gorilla Logic's security, governance, and engineering best practices.

• Develop documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources for the solutions implemented.

• Monitor the performance of workflows and continuously enhance their reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI, automation, and integration technologies and propose innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining production workflows using n8n.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, REST services, authentication methods, webhooks, and data integration strategies.

• Experience in developing AI-driven workflows utilizing LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or comparable technologies.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python for the customization and development of automation workflows.

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

• Experience in managing competing priorities and delivering solutions in an agile setting.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.
