AI Automation Engineer, n8n, AI Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing and managing internal automation processes and AI-driven agents.

• Transform API workflows into robust, observable systems utilizing n8n and LLMs.

• Develop and sustain n8n workflows and custom nodes that coordinate APIs, webhooks, and LLM interactions.

• Create AI-enhanced workflows (classification, extraction, summarization, decision support) with well-defined guardrails.

• Implement secrets management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), rate limiting, and defenses against prompt injection.

• Integrate monitoring, alerting, and cost tracking; establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for essential automations.

• Produce clear documentation and playbooks; foster self-service patterns for team members.

• Continually enhance reliability, latency, and cost-effectiveness through testing and iterative improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience with n8n (or Make/Zapier/Airflow) and REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for custom logic and integrations.

• Practical experience with LLMs (function calling, prompting, and evaluation fundamentals).

• Solid understanding of authentication methods (OAuth2/JWT), webhooks, queues, retries, and idempotency.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Security-oriented mindset: data management, secrets handling, and dependency hygiene.

• **Nice-to-Haves**

• Experience with GCP/AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and GitOps/CI.

• Knowledge of observability tools (logs, metrics, traces).

• Familiarity with LangChain or concepts related to RPA/BPM.
