AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and sustain AI-driven automations and agentic workflows across various business functions.

• Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to comprehend processes, pinpoint automation opportunities, and convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Facilitate AI automation initiatives from the initial scoping and design stages through testing, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Integrate AI tools and agents with pre-existing systems, data sources, APIs, and business workflows.

• Establish human-in-the-loop controls, monitoring systems, logging procedures, and audit trails.

• Diagnose and enhance automations for improved reliability, performance, and scalability.

• Maintain both technical and process documentation.

• Work in conjunction with Compliance, Product, Technology, Operations, and other teams to fulfill business, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Remain updated on AI agents, automation frameworks, and associated technologies, assessing their relevance within Airtm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating or deploying AI-driven automations, AI agents, or agentic workflows.

• Familiarity with automation platforms, APIs, integrations, or workflow orchestration tools.

• Experience with Claude, OpenClaw, or comparable AI and agent development tools.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the skill to translate business processes into actionable technical solutions.

• Capability to work autonomously while engaging collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including human oversight, access controls, monitoring, and documentation.

• Strong organizational and communication capabilities, with a proven ability to manage projects and priorities across diverse teams.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated sectors is preferred.

• Nice to have: knowledge of AML, KYC, fraud prevention, compliance, or other financial-services processes.

• Nice to have: experience with SQL, data tools, APIs, or Google Workspace.

• Nice to have: experience in implementing AI or automation solutions in regulated or control-focused environments.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AI governance, auditability, monitoring, or model and automation controls.
